A tune for a "fun" chemistry class project. I think this is not what my teacher was expecting. Nonetheless, I included all the required information. It should be clear, however, that I am no poet.

This one was made with Famitracker and the VRC7 expansion.

The lyrics should discernibly follow a melody in the tune:

Ammonia
Solution
Ammonium ions in
water as well as some
hydroxide
ions

[Verse 1]:
Ammonia solution is very basic
Which makes it ideal as a cleaning agent
But what makes a base just a base, not an acid?
A higher concentration of hydroxide ions

Ammonia solution has other uses
Some furniture makers used it to stain wood
The tobacco industry uses it for no clear reason
But its pH control helps with food production
