The prompt for this one was a sample pack. The overall tone grew out of the chunky drum machine samples, which for me evoke a melancholy, humble sort of nostalgia. The tune is about the memory of long days playing outside until the sun goes down, perhaps imagining some grand scenario.
This one of my favorite things I made this year! Sometimes really special things come out of these 1 hour battles, somehow...
