This waltz for solo piano appeared almost fully-formed in my head during a bus ride to the train station, and I wrote down most of it on the train ride home from school despite the oppressive background noise, afraid that it would otherwise evaporate. I think it might be derivative of a Chopin or Satie piece or something, but I'm not sure which one. I don't have the proficiency in piano to record it myself, but I experimented with some fluctuations in tempo to make it feel more human.
